The Lessons Program

Lessons are an introductory course for ages typically 6+, no experience necessary. New members only must know how to swim on their own. They will be competing only in the Come As You Are Dive League competitions which is a grass roots local dive league started by Dive San Diego. All meets are held at the Alga Norte pool.

Lesson Location: Alga Norte Pool: 6565 Alicante Rd, Carlsbad, CA 92009. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your lesson and stay 15 minutes afterward.

Lesson Times: Tuesday / Thursday 7:15-8:00 PM / Saturday 10-10:45 or 11:00-11:45 AM

How to Sign Up on Active Net

Active Net Link – https://campscui.active.com/orgs/DiveSanDiego

In order to practice, ALL divers need to register on Active Net. Team Divers must obtain an AAU Membership/Insurance.

1. Go online to https://campscui.active.com/orgs/DiveSanDiego
2. Choose the Program and click ‘View’
   1. Team Diver = Diver practices 2 hours, 2-5 times a week
   2. Lessons = Diver attends 45minute lessons once a week through the month (4 lessons/month)
   3. Drop-In Diver = Divers who cannot commit to a weekly schedule. You purchase a package of 10 and dive whenever you want! Each two hour work out is $25.00 per time or $250.00. Intended for college and master divers.
3. Select the Session.
4. Under ‘Your Selections’ click ‘Continue’
5. Insert correct information.
6. Double check your order.
7. Pay.
8. You are all signed up!
9. Don’t forget to obtain your AAU Membership.
